Don't forget your power towel. Bring it to EVERY game. An animated cartoon inspired by possibly the most stupid idea in the history of college traditions. If you're unfamiliar with the KSU Power Towel or Willie the Mutant-Head Chant, you'd probably want to see this first... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A-05wPlQQ4 Back in the magical age of the 1970's, the Pittsburgh Steelers created the Terrible Towel; a yellow towel fans would wave during games. Soon afterwards, every junior high and high school across the nation pretty much copied their idea, incorporating their own school into a towel. Once the 1990's rolled around, the towel wave fad died down and was soon looked upon as, well, stupid. Then along came Ron Prince, who decided it was time to manufacture some new K-State traditions. Thus the Power Towel and Willie Chant were born. Rock Chalk! Additional Media: -Joe Satrianis Crowd Chant -Rock Chalk Chant -Campus Picture,
